Boots Season – The Best Pairs For AW19

It’s boot season, and I couldn’t be happier. It’s one of the upsides to the colder months.

Not only are boots practical, comfy and warm – they look amazing too.

Whether it’s the classic cowboy boot, or the always glamorous thigh high boots. Here’s my take on the best boots for AW19.

The knee high

Not quite ankle, not quite thigh high. The knee high boots have really take over this year’s boot trend. We love the knee high boot – not only are they practical (even for the rainiest of days), they always look amazing.

Pair them with jeans, a dress, a skirt – whatever you please. They’re a versatile accessory, which makes them one of my absolute favourite pieces.

Cowboy boots

Yes, this Western trend doesn’t seem to be going anywhere any time soon. 2019 has seen an influx in statement cowboy boots – think, glittery boots and bright colours.

You can, obviously, keep to the classic black or brown boot which look great with jeans.

Snake print boots

Taking the Western trend further, snake print boots have also been a favourite for many this year. They’re definitely more of a fashion forward piece, but look amazing.

You can get these boots on the high street for affordable prices, too.

Lace up boots

Lace up clothes have been huge this summer. Now, as it gets colder, it’s time to pass it onto some very stylish boots.

Lace up boots also eliminate the possibility of your knee or thigh highs falling down throughout the day – we’ve all had that problem.

Thigh high boots

We all know them, we all love them. Thigh high boots are just the best addition in the colder months.

Not only do they let you wear your favourite skirts and dresses, but they’re comfy and look amazing.

Thigh high boots are a favourite for the big celebrities too – you’ll never struggle to find the Kardashians or Hadids wearing these.

Jumbo platforms

While they may not be for everyone, there’s no denying that they’re big this year.

The glam rock trend means you can walk around in big, stompy boots – perfect for that statement or alternative look.

Big names like Dries Van Noten and Alexa Chung have showcased these fashion-forward boots.

Red boots

Forget about the style, let’s focus on the colour that took over AW19 boots – Red.

If you’re struggling to find the perfect boot this year, look for a lovely red number, and you’ll quickly find your favourite.

Red is objectively a perfect colour for autumn and winter, perfectly embodying everything from the leaves and Christmas.

Well, I hope this inspires you to invest in your next pair of boots. They really are an essential piece for autumn and winter. Picking the right one for you might feel overwhelming; knowing the trends might make it easier for you.

Let me know which boot your choose, and how you style them.
